Car is a visualization of happiness

On the first day of the new year my family and friends and I visited our first car. A 2002 Odyssey that only cost $3,000 at the time.

At the time it was the company that purchased it for transporting freelancers to and from work. Normally I would drive it around.

Damaged stereo, damaged doors, water tank that tends to boil over, and even when went to check it out yesterday and found someone pooping in the car...

But the memories of when we drove it a few years ago are full of joy.

If you don't have a car, then get one, even if it's broken beyond repair, and when it rains and snows, you have a place to shelter yourself. ;)

Haha yes, It was actually a necessity, we had an AI recognition project at the time that required taking pictures of people wearing medical masks for AI recognition. We had about 30 different freelance directs a day and needed to transport them to and from work every day.

Also - The Odyssey's are badass for a van.
 
Of course, a car is a great emotional connection with happiness, for this machine gives a lot of memories. There are so many happy moments that are interrelated with this. Whether you own a car or drive others, It says thousands of stories indirectly.

Until you start experiencing car problems, and the repairs have to come out of your own pocket. At the worst possible time, too! :mad::weep:

It is then that you will realize that the bicycle is the one and only true visualization of happiness.
Motorcycles are cool too, but they can be scary at times.

Haha, yes, if I wasn't married, or if I had more money, I would prioritize motorcycles.;)

Just thinking that if it rains or snows I can safely get my kids to school.

Can't imagine that this car is 22 years old and it's still awfully strong when you drive it.

tesla, But hopefully we'll all have Aston Martin by 2025.
 
Owning a car, especially from a young age, is a great way to get that sense of autonomy and freedom that may make you happy, but public transit is ultimately superior. If everyone were to get a car, then we would have to build so much more infrastructure, especially in cities, to accomodate the extra traffic. It would encourgae developers to organise cities in such a way that favour cars over foot traffic, bicycles, public transit, etc. A car is nice, but it should not be a goal for most people. There is so much more to cars than what meets the eye. Urban sprawl, obesity, isolation, a weaker community, etc.
 
speaking of the car... I remember the time I got stuck on Ring road with almost no traffic because the tire was out. i was replacing the spare tire and then this mid-aged man showed up out of nowhere asking for money with a kitchen knife on his vibrating hand. so, I got up(trying soooo hard to look calm) then he saw the size of me and walked away saying "safe drive~~". since then, i always check my tire before long-run.
 
There are people in Türkiye who have a love affair with car, and there are many couples who divorced after marriage because they were too interested in their cars...
 
car is really ussefull, there are pros and cons but I prefer to walk easy simple and avoid traffic and I think that is the biggest of the problems, there is too much traffic at any time everywhere.
