Uninterpretable power supply, hooked up to car batteries. I saw the video on youtube and it looks great.

Anybody else try it out?

Multiple PC's can be kept up for much longer than a few mins...

you would need a power inverter. i have ran a computer and printer one time for a few minutes off a car battery when the power was out and i was selling a car.

not the best generally unless a lot of work is put into it, remember, ups's are very pedantic about the quality of the powah comin outta em, they need to be setup with just the right gear so as they supply the feed how they are happy with it otherwise who knows what your going to be fed

For sure how many bats you need depends on how long you will go without charges. Really one battery should do it, get a converter at wallmart ,you wont need a big one, if you want off the grid and need to charge your battery use a solar pannel for rv'rs. 150.00 bucks. Otherwise you will need a battery charger that plugs into your wall,or use jumpercables connected to your cars battery.

Yes i think UPS will help you out in power outage but you need a converter to charge the battery and i think at car batter you can run easily your pc for few hours.
