captcha's on google searches?

    anybody recently had google ask for captcha to be filled before seeing a search result? I've just noticed it happening at work (where we do a lot of searches off several computers, through the same internet connection).

    This must be a pain in the arse for some automated SERP tools?

    Very common occurrence, they'll pop the captcha every 200-300 queries if not sooner. That's why you need lots of proxies for heavy duty serp scraping.

    yea ..dont use scrapebox or any other SEO scraper software without proxies!

    I shouldve mentioned, this is with NO software whatsoever, just a few salespeople checking serps when talking to customers, we havent come accross it at all before, then as of yesterday, we are getting it about one in three searches
