    Hi
I am using a private proxy in firefox. I want to register on some websites. for most sites, everything works as expected. but for some sites, the captcha will not show. it says "please enter the characters" or whatever. but there is no captcha. I even tried playing the captcha as audio, but it won't play.

I tried going to the same site without proxy, and the captcha works. so the problem is not with the site.

Any idea how I can get the captcha to show while using a proxy?

The problem is with the proxies. Some of the IPs used may restricted or blacklisted. Trying asking for a different IP subnet or location

Try inspecting the image / sound out ( load them in different tabs). May be a problem with filetypes / bandwidth..

Like Dennyy said 9/10 its usually the proxy. They get blacklisted when there found out to be used for spam, just ask your proxy supplier for a new set of proxies :)

What proxy service are you using? Maybe you can try CCProxy.
