Captcha Trick

I wasnt sure where to put this so i decided to put it here.

Anyway im sure some of you know this and a lot of you use captcha bots but for you guys who dont know and dont use bots i found this trick a few days ago.

*This trick only works for reCaptcha*

When faced with a captcha 2 words appear.One word is from a book another is made by the computer.

Now its pretty easy to tell which one is made my computer and which one isnt like in this pic:

Now the trick is too type the one thats made by the computer.

Since reCaptcha cant really tell if what we typed is true or false they make a computer generated word that is hard to depict and they figure if you can depict that you could do the spam to the other one.

What are you even saying? I can't make sense of anything you just said.

I think he is saying you only need to type in the computer generated part of the captcha and it will go through. I have done this before. It works. Just saves you 3 seconds from trying in the whole captcha, but in reality you are going to waste at least 3 seconds trying to figure out which on is computer generated.

To clarify:

To pass a ReCaptcha you just have to solve the computer generated word. The other word is used to translate unknown words from scanned books into digital form.

The computer generated word usually is the one with the line through it or it has a weird font or looks overly blurry. This is the one you have to complete.

The other normal looking word is from a book that was scanned and the computer software can't read it. They use humans to translate it for them. It doesn't matter what you put here.

I hope that clears up any misconceptions and if I'm wrong please correct me.

Its the warped goofy looking one everytime . . its easy to figure out. On recaptcha you only have to type that in. . the other word is from a book and is part of a project to digitize all books.

I remember reading that this was a trick used by 4 chan to hack Time's Person of the Year polls.
