Captcha Sniper vs GSA Captcha Breaker

Yeah the Captcha Sniper boys got lazy in their dominance of the market, about time someone gave them a kick up the arse - hopefully that will drive some innovation instead of 'coming soon' 'its nearly done' all the time.

Agree with the above BIG TIME!

If you found a bug or want something added and it's reasonable, the GSA dev (Sven) will release an update for his product either on the *same day* or the following day! With Captcha Sniper, they release updates in a period of 3 months or so.

I like an active developer with active updates/fixes so the extra $40 to buy GSA CB wasn't a big deal in terms of the big picture.

Yeah , +1

I've tested CS a few months ago and it had some very annoying problems.
I'll try CB in the nearest future.
Anyway keep in mind that in general most valuable sites use recaptcha. Both CS&CB won't help.
D.

Yeah man.. its 100% Right.. if the software has active developers then we can expect improvements and tweaks in it... even if we found any major bug, we can get it done asap!

I have both and have run them side by side on gsa and Captcha Breaker beasts CS hands down. The success rate when using GSA is about 75% for CB and about 50% for CS. I have been using CS for about a year now and think it is a good product with great support but you can't deny the results with CB. I had the same question a week ago and decided to just buy CB for my second vps. Since I already had CS running on my main VPS I thought I would use the free trial and see. Within an hour I made the purchase for the full version of CB. I have left it running since Sunday and it has already solved 8K out of 11K attempts. This is with GSA and I have not tried with other apps but I am very happy with the results.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH WHAT YOU THINK IS 75%.

Al this stat is:

The # of captchas sent to CB that have been attempted to be solved. It has NOTHING TO DO WITH SUCCESS RATE! You are being completely misled.

This stat is not even available in CS as it is pretty much USELESS. But alas, you will see it in the next verions of CS :) Also, FWIW, I run them side by side pretty much 24/7. Im getting the same link yield in the same time with both products.

Also the # of supported Captcha types is bogus. It will count the same captcha as different types if it is a different color or size. CS does not currently count captcha types like this. To me a single piece of code which produces a captcha is a single type. But whatever, ill start counting like this too... for marketing purposes.

Also regarding updates, support, etc:

I work on CS everyday. Most days ... 8 + hours. 60-80 hrs per week. If this is considered lazy, then I am GUILTY AS CHARGED :)

There is a new version almost on a monthly basis.

Coming from a very large development house has, it ingrained in me to do regression testing on every feature of CS for at least 24 hours. I hope you guys appreciate that Im not pushing out much with bugs and then subsequently 'fixes'. To me, this is very counterproductive, costing a large user base LOTS of time and money. with bugs/fixes. Just a difference in philosophy ... :)

Also, our service speaks for itself. Just check the sales thread :) We answer support 7 days a week and I have had the pleasure of speaking directly vis skype with many of my customers.

Yes, thats right REAL TIME skype support :) And you get to speak with the developer himself.

something must be wrong with my install then.. how many threads do u run at because i feel like i got alot more solve rate with CSX3... CB is only getting me like 30% solve rate... captcha breaker only like 33 percent.png

i own CS it's pretty buggy even it's been here for years now but on other hand i tried CB demo it's work smooth hopefully will buy that soon ;)

i went into gsa ser stopped it and stopped no hands closed GSA Captcha breaker went in gsa search engine ranker settings changed captcha solver to captcha sniper opened captcha sniper let it run for a few seconds and hit start on nohands and its giving me 100% success rate as opposed to the 30% ive been getting with Captcha breaker since its release... ive been testing both .... 100% csx3.png i also feel like without all the fancy user interface of captcha breaker CSX3 uses less resources and runs FASTER...solves alot faster to.

CSX3 AVG Solve time 0.346
CB AVG Solve time 3.5 seconds....
not being biased because i paid for and own both this is just from my studies of runnings GSA Search engine ranker and nohandsseo have led me to show you.. im running both at 50 threads on a expensive private VPS

...hopefully that will drive some innovation instead of 'coming soon' 'its nearly done' all the time.

Totally agreed

CSX3 AVG Solve time 0.346

Because it's solving one by one (single thread) LOOLLL

50 Threads and 3.5 secs is a fair time. It means in 3.5 secs it's solving 50 captcha's

News flash ... CB is solving one by one too :) There is no thread issue with CS ...

so far my tests with nohandsseo and gsa ser have showed that captchasniper solves faster and more captchas / less failures.. i have proof and tested it multiple ways different thread speeds etc... Captcha sniper still solves more faster.. i think they need to drop the fancy interface for on captcha breaker it slows the program down.

I still go for CS..

Dont want to buy all my tools from 1 guy also..

If Sven will be gone, good bye to ser and cb...

i have to agree with this one...

i have to agree with this one...
i switched off Captcha sniper X3 and put Captcha breaker backon and stopped and started and changed settings in gsa search engine ranker back to Captcha breaker and its only solving like 25%...... not sure if nohandsseo is bringing down the solve rate % but 25%.... im getting like 75%+ with Captcha Sniper..... i just downloaded the latest update of captcha breaker 1.57 still low success. HAS Anyone else tested GSA Captcha Breaker with Nohandsseo???

Captcha sniper is great for me. I haven't taken CB out for a spin yet because I own 2 licenses of CS. There is not a huge difference between the two right now they both support multithreading despite what people are saying and the number of supported captchas is very similar too. I do like the option of sending out failed captchas but I can let the software sending the captchas handle that. It will do a better job anyways. I have GSA SER and the update velocity is unreal so I can see CB getting better fast. Mikey does work really really hard on updates they are just released less often with more features. Now that there is competition there will surely be lots of amazing features added to both. I think it is too early to determine a winner.
