Hey guys,

few days back i was going through jobs on freelancer.com and bid on few of them, i get a pvt msg abt this job to fill in captcha and earn money.

i wanted advice from the ppl here on if it is a scam or are there real jobs like that, which can fetch a few bucks??

Yes, you can most definetely do it.
You can get a really nice income of 10$ for some 10-12 hours of work
