Captcha.....Help please

First off sorry if these are n00b questions, I am new to all of this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using freeocr and everything was fine until the captchas got harder (recently). All I need is a program which can use an image of a captcha that my software creates; then convert to text (if possible also copy to the clipboard). I can then take it from there.

It has to be done via software instead of mechanically.

Two questions:

1) In general are these types of captchas relatively easy to solve?
2) Which is faster and most accurate solving from audio or from the picture?

fastest way = human. You should for anti captcha services. I use death by captcha, they charge 8 bucks for 5000 captchas.

This will not work unfortuantly, I need my software to start the captcha program at a certain time. I only need to solve 1-2 captchas a day but I am unable to see them the rest of the day (captcha pops up at a random time that varies everyday). It also needs to be fast since others seem to be doing the same thing and beating me.

Freeocr was working perfectly with my software since they were very simple captchas before.....not anymore.

You will have to use a Captcha Webservice then. You can send a Captcha to a webserver which will transform it into a string. The bad thing is that you will need to pay money for it.

Captchas were made because they are not easy to solve. You can probably buy a software that can do captcha decrypting for you. I have seen open source decaptcha programs but you still have to manually provide feeds which defeats the purpose unless you can modify the codes to fit your software. Or like the cemputer have said, use a captcha webservice. Hire a programmer to do it for you if its worthwhile.

Look at imagemagick to clean up the image first, then send it to your OCR software. You might also look at tesseract and gocr, both free and open source. Also do a google search captcha solving and you'll find plenty of more specific information about what I've said.

---You could also upload an example to a free image hosting site, so that everyone can see what we're talking about.

There are 3 options that you have that you can use that I know of.

#1 - pay for a decaptcha service
#2 - have a programmer code up some sort of speech to text application that will translate the audio to string then input the string into captcha textbox
#3 - Have a coder create a custom OCR program that will solve pretty much anything you can throw at it and create text from the image.

I have listed them as least to most expensive.

there is also the old question to anwser type security..these are a little harder to crack but if you have a cloud database of possible answers you can solve those some of the time.

the best solution is #1 paying a programmer will be a pretty huge expense. writing AI apps is hard.

You can go with either of the two...
