My uploads are struggling to get past 100 views, it has been this way for a while. Sometimes the videos get like 124 views and 8 likes and stay there and other they may eventually get 500 views but after three days of being on a 100.

I’m not sure what to do I have made the account at the start of the year and got a couple hundred followers and other 2 mil views in total but if I upload nowadays I’m restricted

That’s usually not a ban. TikTok is just testing your videos with a small batch first. If it dies around 100-300 views, the hook or watch time isn’t strong enough. Tighten the first 1-2 seconds, cut filler, don’t delete/reupload and try a slightly different format or angle. A few days of consistent posting usually tells you if it can break out again.
 
I completely agree with the previous comment, it's likely that TikTok is just testing your content with a small batch of users. I've experienced similar issues in the past, and tweaking the first few seconds of the video can make a huge difference. Have you tried analyzing your video's performance using TikTok's built-in analytics tool to see where viewers are dropping off? Additionally, what type of content are you creating, is it dance, comedy, or something else - sometimes switching up the format or niche can help you break out of the 100-300 view range.
 
Sometimes, it's a shadowban. But that depends so no one can say. Keep uploading for a few weeks.
 
Hard to say with TikTok, or indeed, most platforms these days. Your content's really gotta pop, that or you already have a dedicated fanbase willing to watch even the average content you put out. All else kinda seems to die on delivery..

Quality of video interest most viewers,make good quality content video to upload and search for trending related hashtags in niche to approve/interest many viewers.

test some verbal, text and visual hooks

this is likely not a shadowban, it is more likely that the video is just not that good (meaning people don't watch for that long compared to other videos which are more captivating).

depending on what you post. hooks with numbers and timeframes. take inpsiration from viral content and make it yours.

- don't let a (swiftie) fan/fanatic/lover see this
 
Most likely, it's either a shadow ban or poor content. Try uploading the video with a new proxy and a new account. If you still don't get any views, then it's a content issue.
 
I would say shadow ban. Your video's shouldn't be stuck at 100 views consistently. If they get stuck at around 300+ its usually a content issue getting past that. Also some accounts just get capped at different rates. Some accounts get capped at 1k for non viral vids, some 500 some 300. Doesn't necessarily mean hey can't get past that ive just noticed that sometimes each account has a diff. view cap it likes to stay at even if you're posting the same content. But if it gets 100 views I would say its generally shadowbanned.
 
Your account might be flagged or shadowbanned, try posting from a fresh warm up account and see if views go up.

2 weeks of consistent posting is good enough timing to understand if your account is shadowbanned or not. If you are still getting this bad views - move on to the next account.
