Can't write on SD card - Samsung Galaxy

Hi! I've just spent more than 2 hours trying to fix my sd card so that I can move apps to it.

I tried:
- formatting the sd card from my phone - it didn't work
- using easeus software on my computer - it said it cleaned everything and when i inserted it in my phone again all of the files were back
- using a file manager but couldn't select SD card
- tried formatting it from my pc - again there's an error

This is an SD card which I was using on my previous phone. It has more than 10GB free memory.

Could anyone give me a working solution??????

It's either write protected or corrupt. There is nothing you can do if the SD card is corrupt.

I suppose, it's a micro SD card, which needs to be put it into an adapter (extension case) to fit the SD card slot in your computer. That adapter can have a write-protection on/off switch, a lock. If it's on, you can't format the card. Set it to off position. Then don't use any 3rd party software, simply format it within the Windows file explorer. Right click on the SD card should bring up the 'Format' option.

Although you should be able to format it using your phone too. Only the adapter can make the micro SD write-protected, when you remove the micro SD from the adapter and put it in your phone, the micro SD is not write-protected anymore.
Probably you're doing it wrong. Google the SD card formatting steps for the mobile OS version you're using. Don't use any 3rd party app there either, do it with the tool built into the OS.

If it's not write-protected, it got corrupted somehow. But if you were using it in your previous phone without any issue, it's not likely.

The card adapters have write-protection switch. If you're directly using it, then you should be able to format it. If you can copy contents of the SD card to your phone memory, then it should be fine. If you can't copy from or to your SD card, then most probably it's corrupt.
