You can't buy jr vip sub if you already are a jr vip. Either wait till your membership is auto renewed, or do it manually when it expires (in case it is not auto renewed). There's no way around to this. I know coz I tried the same last year.

If you want to be sure, go to your Paypal subscription page. It will show an active subscription with dotcom consultancy, if there exists one.
