Cant understand what I am doing wrong

For one of my sites that has around 8k searches a month and a difficulty rating of medium difficulty. I cant seem to figure out what I am doing wrong.

For my site, I have gotten it to page 2
Ordered some pyramid gigs on fiverr
my site bounced around for 2 days and wasnt on the top 100

now its sitting on page 10 for its search term

I added some high pr links today and will do so for days to come.

Im not sure if im going on the right path to rank 1

Make sure your on page SEO is perfectly optimized for your keyword. You're going on the right path with high PR links, also try some article backlinks and directory submissions if you haven't already. And you're ranking good already, so now you need high quality links. Good luck!
