Can't understand how to customize a WordPress theme.

Hey, guys.

Recently, Festinger dropped a super unique Christmas present with tons of themes and plugins for Wordpress. I instantly downloaded all of them because I have a project on my mind. But now, I'm facing an issue here.

For a note, I'm completely new to Wordpress. Before this, I used to create Shopify websites, only.

So, basically...

Can somebody explain me this: for an example, I decided to use the mts_agency theme, right? I added it up. Now, I'm trying to "Customize" it but once I land into the following screen, there are only a few boxes available, "Site Identity, Menus, Widgets, Additional CSS". Where are the rest of the options for customization? I know that there is such a thing as Elemenator but what if I want to use mts_agency theme's provided options that are shown on the home page of the theme? Like, that beautiful counter and pretty much the rest of the design. I tried looking up for relatable videos on YouTube but haven't found explanation yet.

the customize button leads to customizations that your theme allows (or better said its developers).

If you want to customize a bigger part of your theme, you can either change theme, or simply customize the template files of your current theme.

Oh, okay. I wish the mts_agency theme had more features, though. It's kind of weird to see that there are pre-built themes in which you can only change the text and font. Or move the already pre-made blocks, nothing else... Kind of used to the way you can design Shopify themes.

Guess I'll switch the theme then...

Check the admin panel, their might be another button for its true options.

I suggest you have a look at GeneratePress premium, is a great theme with a lot of customizable options - even the content container width.

I will suggest you to use generate press and astra. Use Elementor and why the hell do you not want to use page builders.

Thank you for the suggestion. I've got another question - I've found some great templates (for homepage and other pages) that fit my requirements. But whenever I add them via Elementor, doesn't matter what theme I'm using - the template is not fully covering the whole page. It's like, there are "leftovers" from the theme I'm using on top of the page (above the template) and below, at the footer section. But I want the whole page to be covered with the template. How do I get rid of those theme leftovers?

There is option when you click on edit with elementor in the first tab their is a option with content width (i guess)(I haven't a for about 2 months.)
