Blehhh, I cant decide on ONE money making venture.... I'm all over the place and Just need a slap.
I started with an ebook, I wrote it with AI, made a gorgeous cover and decent landingpage (IMO) Then ran some google ads... which was a bad idea haha too expensive, 70 click 7 opt ins @ $100 I dont mind paying but thats too much per conversion.

So I took to facebook groups on alt accounts and got another 10 opt ins with 100 clicks. took a few weeks.. and it was burning me out not seeing any success from that.

So I tried taboola which banned me literally the moment I made my account which was weird... and they just don't reply at all to bans so that was over.

Then built a web scraper to get emails for a specific niche, and have around 12k cold emails but now I was just looking at FB ads for affiliate products...

I'm pretty sure ill make something work but I just need to friggen pick and stick with something... I read a new thread on BHW here and im off trying a new venture before I even finished my last..

Just needed to vent, and someone to give me shit and straighten me out.

I feel you. Oh, I definitely do... You're in a rut.

What's that, you ask? Here's the official definition (Source: Cambridge Dictionary):

be in a rut—to not have changed what you do or how you do it for a very long time so that it is not interesting any longer

Given your post, this may sound counter-intuitive at first, but hear me out.

First, understand that "trying to make money" is not what "you do"—at least your brain doesn't see it that way. So when it comes to the method/business/side hustle/whatever, you definitely need to "friggen pick and stick with something", as said by yourself.

However, the actual thing that "you do" (as per the definition above) is sit in front of a screen, in a boring room that is very well known to you, possibly with not a lot of human interaction going on there, and think about how to get to the big bucks. Eat, sleep, and then repeat. That's where the "rut" comes from.

Change that. NOW! Get up, go for a run, and keep doing it regularly. Go lift some weights. Go for a long walk/ride/drive. Book the cheapest hotel you can find in a different, nearby city and spend the night there. Look for any adventure you can find.

You can also try setting up your workspace in a different room. If that's not an option, try a standing desk and position it diagonally in a corner, for example.

Meet (and talk to) as many people as possible on a daily basis, and do it even if you're an introvert like me.

Also, try a new hobby—even if it won't make you any money (because I know that's what you're after—don't worry, I'm too).

Why all this stuff that seemingly won't get you any richer? Because it will allow your brain to look at the things that are important to you differently, or in other words, create new pathways by disconnecting from your initial ideas—something that you definitely won't be able to do if you continue as per usual.

Try setting up a personal brand. Buyers won't buy easily an ebook from a faceless/nameless website. That's why vendors on clickbank struggle while Youtubers have easy sales.

Thanks for this. I find myself seriously just staring at the screen achieving nothing and before I know it my day is gone again.

I just need to friggen pick and stick with something
No you don't. You have to keep trying different things until something works, otherwise you'd stick to something that isn't working.

You thought writing the book was the hard part and skipped it with ai but that was never the hard part. Try promoting on tiktok, the organic reach is huge.

I'm feeling the same way.

Determination is key. try approaching what you are currently doing from diffrent angles and tactics.

Thanks! I'm going to keep focusing on the landing page for a bit to build an email list.

Now what is your goal now?
I am going to continue to focus on a product to sell. I made the ebook but I found a product to sell. I think im jsut going to run some ads to see if I make any sales at all and see how it goes.

Recently built a web scraper getting emails and have about 11k emails right now... want to warm them up or learn how to take care of this list.

I also built a web application that creates social posts and blog articles very similar to jasper using the openAI API, I am going to try and market it to my niche since those AI tools market pretty specific people.

I am a web dev for my day job in the govt and have an insane amount of spare time since I work from home and get a few weeks of work done in the first few days I was thinking about a second job but I want to get some passive income that I can scale into my own thing for my future and family.
