Hello,

I have a problem to setup my Browser to run with a proxy without websites knowing that im from the country im really coming from.

I rent a proxy for the use with Senuke. So for testing I opened IE8 on my Vista Home Premioum 32bit and included the proxy. I saved and opened google.com. And google.com opened but the text was wrote in my native language not american english where the proxy is from.
I deleted all cache and cookies in IE and opened google.com again. The same result. I checked the ip and anonymity and all is showing the proxy ip and that im from USA. But google and other sites still show text in my native language. Which leads in senuke to the result that some sites dont work because senuke cant understand the forms.

Its not the complete same thing like without the proxy but there is still my own language on the sites. For example english headers but my own languages text. Dont understand this because cache and cookies were deleted.

So I thought maybe its the browserlanguage. So I deinstalled the IE and installed the english version of IE. But nothing changed. Google and other websites still know what language I normally read.

So how do they know that? And how to setup it right?

I searched all of drive C: for google and only found the google adwords tool. Which is a standalone software. No menubar or similar things installed.

I tried the same with a portable version of FF and... same result. I dont get it...

I want to have that all websites think Im from USA so they show english websites.

Help?

you have to set in firefox/IE US english to be the normal, whats the sites using when you browsing them. in the settings menu

I cant find this setting in IE nor Firefox... Looked into internet options in IE and Settings in FF.

Your questions are answered here in detail:
Firefox:
Code:
http://www.cloakfish.com/?tab=howto#howto_firefox-accept-language

For IE check this:
Code:
http://www.cloakfish.com/?tab=howto#howto_change-user-agent-for-ie
I think the accept language was set in the same registry paths, but not sure on that one

The tip for Firefox worked. When I choose google.com in this FF I now get the english version.
But I have a problem with the IE8. Because the Key exists but not entries. So I built these 3 entries and checked with http://my-addr.com/ua but it seems it doesnt change the User Agent this way. Probably its set at other places now in IE8?
Im searching how to set it up because it seems thats the way to go but till now didnt found it...

Glad to hear
Try explore the IE options, maybe you can set the language somewhere.
Many IE things are stored in the microsoft registry but I don' t know much about IE8.

I already searched the registry and the Internet Options of IE but didnt found anything languagerelated...

By the way the Useragent itself is still showing my countries language code. Its the accept language that seems to count.

The best site to show these data is: http://showip.net/

Finally I found whats the problem. It seems that can only be changed by going to system control in Vista - Regions and Languageoptions and at Formats change to Englisch-US. Now Google.com is english finally. So the IE-Header is too.
I guess even without a proxy the successrate of Senuke will be much higher this way for users outside usa. (Cant test it at the moment)
