Can't Search Hashtags - Defaulting to "For You" Feed

Anyone having trouble searching hashtags?

When I try to search a particular hashtag using the Instagram app on my phone, it won't display the tag. It bounces back to my For You section and displays a feed (usually with old posts) for my For You section instead of showing the hashtag feed.

I am trying to view new content by hashtag displayed in chronological order.

The problem started around 12 pm on Feb. 5 for me.

Hashtag search is working fine on my end. If it started suddenly, it’s likely a temporary backend bug. Quick things to try: force close the app, log out/in, or reinstall. IG sometimes breaks search for certain accounts and fixes it silently within a day or two.

Seen a few posts about this, looks like another IG test or bug rolling out.
