Can't reach Twitter? Here's why

A bunch of websites are having intermittent issues.. Teachable, Twitter, Swagbucks and a few more I stumbled on this morning
 
I checked Twitter, Reddit, and Spotify. All are operational on the west coast.

Yes, what others said above. Depending on location, it works for some, but not for others. Some of my US proxies work, others don't, while i can access Twitter from my home ip without any issue from Central EU.

For Twitter you can track the outage live here (or if you switch the twitter part at the end of the url, for other sites too): http://downdetector.com/status/twitter, there were two outage spikes in the last few hours with around 4k reports each and it's not over yet.

Exactly, that's why I attached my location to the end of my sentence, and if we get a pattern going in the thread we can see where people are experiencing outages on the forum. :D
 
It is still down for me. Already seen few threads about dos attacks.

Yep :) or we can use something like uptrends, which checks if a site can be reached on ~40 locations around the globe. It's a huge outage nevertheless.

Not for me, but if you use that uptrends site i posted above, it turns out that Pinterest is down in NYC, San Diego, Paris, Prague, Brussels and a couple other cities.
