Can't rank website even with backlinks

Lots of social signals from low quality acounts can get you penaized also I think. What you need is great backlinks and a lot of unique content And you know some keywords are just too hard to rank.

i bet you ranked those 3 competitive 2 years ago. as people said, use high quality link (high pr link / high pr blog post etc)
if you have budget, just buy on marketplace. everything changed now.

I think you should look at the type of links you have to your website. Try using some homepage posts or networks which should increase your rank. Also make sure the domain you are using is clean and ranks atleast for its own domain keyword . Ex:If your domain is 360carblog[d][o][t][c][o][m] then you should be able to show up in the results if you put 360carblog or else something is wrong with your domain.

This is exactly what you should expect if you build too many links too fast..google is not the same now, you need patience and quality, my guess is google learned their lesson, they are looking for quality and age now, if your domain is new and you have a tonne of backlinks you'll not rank

Its not about total number of links, its more about quality of those links.
Exactly, 10 high quality with good PR links which have relevance are worth more than 10,000 worthless ones. If you're trying to break in to a high comp niche you will need some good SEO skills to get any where near the big boys.

Having a backlink is not equal to automatic ranking. You should check the number of backlinks, the anchor text, etc

Look for niches, don't bother with using google keyword suggestions, most people have incested that and it's too competitive to battle.

Just advertise using facebook fanpages then baiting people to join your mailing list, etc. Facebook's intranet search within Facebook-related pages are much easier to rank.

It's just difficult getting people to buy stuff online, even with buyer keywords.

I know what I'm doing,my links building strategy worked and still works I have 3 other websites ranked in top-3 positions.
Backlinks anchors ratio for main keyword is like 9%.
I'm pretty sure that problem is not in backlinks, because when I had few of them I still couldn't find my self on top100 positions and in top100 positions there was many websites without backlinks...

It looks like penalization, but for nothing as I couldn't find my website for any of keyword from the beggining...

Need your Domain name and keyword. The 3 ranked websites do they use wordpress as well?

Competitive niches may be difficult to rank in, also, some domains will simply fail you. It may be worth testing out at least 5 different domains for the same niche at the same time, and proceed with the one that responds better. Google is known to randomize their ranking process so going for a single domain and expecting it to do well may not really be the way to go.

Could be a penalty, could be an onpage factor, or it could be nothing that should be of concern. Its Google at the end of the day. Just be patient and keep building links like you do.

Here's the thing - Google just rolled out with an update to their algorithm. Welcome to Panda 4.0:

Twitter - mattcutts- Google is rolling out our Panda ....png
That happened about 11 days ago. Guess what that means? Google is punishing sites with 'thin' content. Funnily enough, Ebay and large press sites got affected as well. What did they do? More updates.

In your case, and most likely, that's what happened to you. You got penalized by the Panda update. Focus on QUALITY. Remember, content is king.
