Why don't you just get the required post count then? The restrictions are in place for a reason.

Also, why's it so important that you need to post an image/link/email?

You must have heard of 90:9:1 rule. It means 90% just visit/read, 9% sometimes contribute (rarely) and 1% are actual contributors.

But it does not mean that only 1% should have privileges. Like original poster stated, I have been here for quite some time, but I did not feel I have something valuable to say. On the other hand, there are people who like to write crappy comments like: "Thanks." "Great!", ...

To be able to keep this forum clean of worst spam they put some restrictions. I wanted to share some software many people want but i couldnt and saw that msg. I dont like restrictions but man i hate spam so i am fine by this forum settings.

Make sure you don't put smileys too. It triggers the forum filter. It happens to me many times because I always forget about these smileys.

for donor members
