Can't post links on reddit

I can't post links on reddit. Every time I post a link it gets "auto moderated" - can anybody offer any advise as to why this is.

My account is a legit account, with a few posts ranging from a few years ago and not been very active in all honesty and have a karma score of like 1 lol.

Do I need to build karma up to post links or sometihng ?

Yes you need more karma in your case. Try posting in some cats/dogs subreddits or some smaller communities to build karma.
After gaining some karma you should not encounter that auto moderated removals anymore.

There are many posts here how to build karma easily. It takes 1 day to get over 1k karma, just search BHW.
Then you should be fine, never had this problem but I always start with karma.

There can be a lot of reasons, Reddit often flags some urls sitewide, either completely banning them or making it so only accounts that meet a certain criteria can post them.

Try to get some karma using memes to start.

its to stop new accounts with 0 history from joining to spam links .

Did you try and post a normal link that you know will work? It probably is your karma being so low and your account being inactive then all of a sudden starts spamming links.
