Original post is 9 months old and has only 1 upvote and 27 comments.

Have posted many other posts with keyword in the title, but this one from 9 months ago ALWAYS comes up first.....

Should be so simple to outrank a 1 upvote post shouldn't it?

Only thing I can think of is age is a factor? All my posts are about 1 month old more or less.

Any tips on how to outrank such a post easily?

interesting, age shouldnt be factor for 1 upvote post. did you check backlinks of it ?

0 backlinks to competitor post.

And I'm even backlinking to my created reddit posts from my website (keyword in url of my website).

Age is definitely one of the factor here, especially when it's only 1m old vs 9 months on the currently ranking post.

You could try targeting a slightly different keyword variation to bypass the old post

Reddit posts can stick for a long time, even with little engagement. You might get better results by building some backlinks to your own post or aiming for slightly different keywords instead of trying to beat the old one head-on.

Defiantly, account age and post content is a big factor but i think the post is the most important factors bcz google index high DA at good rate so, you should focus on keywords on titles and the body content
