CANT OPEN SCRAPEBOX

i have sent this email to scrapebox multiple times & also sent it through the contact form on scrapebox multiple times,

NOT A SINGLE REPLY

i then searched on here & found this

the post i wanted to put on that thread is the same as the email i sent them etc - which is -

scrapebox was working ok for ages, then it stopped working yesterday, when i open it, it shows in the taskbar at the bottom, but when you click on the scrapebox icon it wont open,
i have tried it multiple times, & sometimes it brings up an error dialogue box which says "please do not run another instance of scrapebox out of the same folder!"

but there arent any instances of scrapebox open.


i cant get it to open & use it.

i use scrapebox literaly all the time, mostly for deduplicating & splitting files etc.
so im stuck now because i cant get it to work.

searched online as well for a solution.

It sounds like some sort of conflict, so I would install a fresh version into a completely separate directory and try running that copy, making sure that any currently running instances are closed via task manager.

i was thinking of uninstalling & then reinstalling, but thought if they are not answering the emails then they might not verify the license ?

which is what you have to do if you do what you said ? is that right, i didnt want to do it just in case.

there are & were definitely no instances of scrapebox running, i even rebooted then tried it & it brought up same error message.
it was working ok until about a week ago.

another thing, when scrapebox opens, since the problems the grey box with text in it that opens with scrapebox opens in the top left of the computer screen, that never happened until the problem, previously the grey box was in the middle (opprox) of the screen.

i put scrapebox in programs x86 & it wont work from there, then i put it on desktop & it opened up ok, so it looks like it is resolved - thank you
