At work on an ancient ISDN line, no problemo. At home I get this:

"In order to accept POST request originating from this domain, the admin must add this domain to the whitelist."

Any help?

I have tweaked some vBulletin settings let me know if it works fine now.

I'll give it a try in a couple of hours when I get home.

UK, eh? Whose your fave team?

Manchester City, because i have shares there ;)

I'll follow any team with Yanks on the roster, so I was very sorry to see Sven kick DaMarcus Beasley to the curb when he took over. Naturally then I'm pulling for Fulham(and Reading - and Derby!) to get out of relegation. Sanchez really screwed up, and any fan with a 3 digit IQ could tell his signings were crap.

Im gonna have a crazy guess are you in blackburn?

Nope. Am at home now; still can't login. I used a proxy to get this post up. Most inconvenient.

Blackburn? Um, no. I follow Yanks Abroad because I *am* a Yank! Live in the Detroit area.

Though certainly I'm a fan of Friedel.

What url are you using http://www.blackhatworld.com or blackhatworld.com ?

I'm using w3.blackhatworld.com. I googled this a couple of days ago and saw that very "solution". No go. Just recently I've experienced this problem with a number of forums. Damned frustrating.

Ok try now if that doesnt work if not try http://blackhatworld.com if not try http://www.blackhatworld.com for me.

Seems to be a very very rare problem :D your the first yet

Neither works. I really think this is a vBulletin issue.

When I first log in, I am given the "You do not have access to this page; yadda, yadda, yadda; Strada Chocolata!".

I then have to select "New Posts" to be able to get in. Any selections other than "User CP" takes me back to the chocolate page.

I'm gonna give that a shot tonight. Actually, I had planned on trying that last night. But some cretins got in the way.......

Turns out you can certainly browse this site without logging in via the "New Posts" link. But what if you want to post a reply/thread? Then you're still lost. And you can't dig thru older threads, just the threads with recent replies. Would still like to be able to log in to BHW from home without using a proxy. Should I make a Camtasia video of this and post it?
