So basically I've been working on my site for 2 days now editing and adding content. All was fine and i could view the site no problem, until a few hour's ago. It basically won't load on any browser and say's it can't connect to the server even though everything's fine. The site loads for anyone else who i have asked to check it for me. I've checked my file manager setting's and i haven't disabled my own IP.

Anyone know what the problem is?

Help greatly appreciated, zuck.

Ok, try this.

Click on network icon in the taskbar -> Open network and sharing center -> Click on the name of your active connection -> Properties -> Double-click on Internet Protocol Version 4 -> click on Use the following dns server addresses and fill it like this:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
Ok -> Ok -> Close

Try accessing your website now.

Thanks for the reply. Just tried what you told me and it sadly didn't work :(.

Do you have static ip? If not, try restarting your router. Maybe your current ip is somehow blocked. Also, to rule out ip problem, you can try accessing your website via hidemyass or some proxy service.

I think i have a dynamic IP but i'm not sure. I tried to access my site with TOR and it worked fine.

Seems to be a IP problem, like something's blocking me? Weird!

Ok, try restarting your router, that should renew your ip if it'd dynamic.

Do you have any security plugin installed on your blog? It might be blocking your ip.
If you don't have, contact your hosting provider to look into things, mention everything you know now.

If its shared hosting ask your host if your ip has been blocked for any reason.

Putting your cpanel or some htaccess password in a few times normally gets you a block.

Perhaps you need to flush/clear your DNS cache. Do a search for that term to find out what to type into terminal to flush.

Start -> type cmd and open -> type ipconfig/release -> press enter -> type ipconfig/flushdns -> press enter -> type ipconfig/renew _> press enter

Thanks for all the replys guys, i have tried all of your methods and i am still unable to connect. OriginalEXE i did have a security plugin installed which i have removed and i'm still unable to connect. I also removed a few other plugins and still no luck. I backed up the htaccess files and deleted them just to see if it'd do anything but i'm still not able to load my site.

I'm running out of ideas!

Do you have local antivirus software or network control software which may be blocking access your sites IP?

I have malwarebytes which isn't running and have tested that. It's weird because I've been working on the site fine for 2 days without any problems, then all of a sudden it no longer loads :(.

You've probably blocked your own IP by giving the wrong answer to a firewall prompt.

If you think that might be the fault, un-install and re-install your firewall and/or anti-virus.

It would be great i you can try with another pc on your connection. That would rule out your pc as a problem.

Just tried it on my brothers PC and it doesn't load either. Seem's to be an IP problem. Thanks a lot for trying to help me fix this :).

I don't really want to have to re install WP again as i made some post's etc that i haven't backed up and I've only just got indexed :(.

Any other suggestions are appreciated!

you can force your ISP DHCP server to issue you a new ip address, just go into your routers settings and enable mac address clone then just change the last digit in the MAC address. Save the changes in your router. Then restart both your router and your modem. This WILL get you a new IP from your ISP DHCP server.
