Can't join FB group as a page

I tried to join some groups and never had the option to join as my page instead of myself. I googled there's a long thread of people having the same issue. Was it how I set up my page to start with?

I know some groups won't accept pages, but I want to get through the first hurdle first. It looks like if i join as myself I won't have the handy button of inviting other users?

I don't think all groups offer the option of joining as a Page unfortunately.
 
Only some groups allow it. Just share stuff from your page into said groups and it gives people a click-back link to your page.
 
Some groups asks for whether your profile or page wants to join. Some don't. There is nothing wrong on your side.
 
Thank you for confirming. Bummer....
I just tried to join about 30 groups, none of them allowed a business page to join.
Is there a way to identify which ones would allow a business page to join before clicking the button?
 
I had same issue
btw it might happened ur profile was banned from grp
