Can't get indexed

The domain is brand new. Not expired or anything. Wayback machine didn't show any result.
Is it possible that it is blacklisted?

Didn't quite get your answer, since I didn't say what the domain was.

Did you check your robots.txt file? I was facing this problem with my one domain.After many days i have noticed the problem is on robots.txt file.Also did you click the button named by "Success" of your google webmaster tools fatch as googlebot? You can click that button to see the result.Sometime it shows the 301 permanent redirect due to wrong use of setting permalinks of http and http://www or www.Check that.

I read this becasue I was having the same issue....no index since Thursday last week. I did not to much backlinkng but pinged the hell out of it and bookmarks.
Webmaster tools shows URLS Submitted with numbers next to it BUT URLS in web index is all 0's.
Robot text reads as 200 (success) but under it in the other box it reads User Agent *
Disallow..
Will try the twitter thing now but damn this the longest its been and my domain is 10 years old (but was never built out)

Did you look at the robots.txt on your site? Not just through webmaster tools?
It should look like this.

It's not going to be 'in worpress' and Yoast seo plugin doesn't have it (some other plugin might though). What you should do is access your site via ftp or cpannel and look in the root directory of worpress for robots.txt. Then replace it with the robots.txt I posted before.

Yup, exactlywhat I was thinking while reading through this thread. If its not banned, there is no logical reason it shouldn't index.

The domain is almost 10 years old..I sat on it for about 2 years myself....way back shows a site in 2003 and thats it....If it is banned who do you tell.. All the sites that ask to "check to see if a domain is banned" just say well if its not indexed its banned BUT they give no hard facts just no index = banned...I need more fucking info then that.
