Cant get API from amazon...

Hello,

So ive started a Amazon AFF site, brand new and havent made any sales yet. im waiting for more articles but so far i only have 1 on my site. ordered more.

I got AAWP beacuse everyone talks about it. the thing is...i cant get the API key on amazon??? I dont see any " signup " button everyone talks about.

does this mean i need to SELL something in order to get the api key? if someone knows pleas let me know....because then i cant use the plugin yet..just so i know.

Official Wordpress Amazon plugin doesn't work currently. Check the reviews on the plugin page and you'll see. Do it by hand, Amazon has neat system to generate links, banners and product widgets and you can do it fast.

Just link to affiliate products manually by using affiliate account inbuild link creator.
Once you get 3 sale, then apply for amazon api ....

yes thats what im doing right now, but ive read several threads where people state to start with the plugin in the beginning or i will regret it. thats why i tried but thanks for clearing it out....i wil wait untill the sales get done
