Can't follow accounts with USA proxy + Shadowrocket

Hi have a active usa sim and tried to set up better targeting on my tiktok account using shadowrocket and a USA proxy. When making the new accounts I am unable to follow anyone. I can like videos and comment however following new accounts they just get instantly unfollowed. Does this mean the account is shadowbanned or needs warming? When I make new accounts without the proxy I am only able to follow 1-2 people per day to begin with.

It seems that your device has been flagged, thus your follow actions with fresh accounts are getting blocked, regardless of the IP used.

But on the same device if I factory reset and don't use the proxy. I am able to follow accounts just a few at a time. I thought if the devices are on ios16 then it's not possible for tiktok to read any information of the device. I could be wrong though.

that seems like a shadow ban, that could be a restriction to follow, others to see your content also what happen on my side it nevers update the feed because I speend too much time sharing and liking videos and shows me the same 50 videos with no update after 48 hours funny but true.

It seems to be working now. I've only followed one account but the pattern is the same as when not using a proxy on a brand new phone with 4g data coming from the sim. I think they have a thing in place where now when you make a new account it limits the amount of people you can follow per 24 hours to start out. The account has gained 2 followers from commenting on a couple of videos.

I saw a few people who start posting videos 12 hours after they created the account, I can't even follow or like videos. Wondering what they're doing different?
