can’t change email

hello newbie here, i wanna ask is facebook policy now can’t change email nor add new contact without code from old email or phone ? i have thousand fb but i can’t change email bcs i can’t find old email in order to get otp to change password. i mean i created by myself but using temporary email 3/4 years ago. thanks in advance
Yeah, that’s how it works now. Facebook tightened security hard.

If you don’t have access to the old email or phone, you can’t change login info — no way around OTP requirement.
Even if you made the accounts, temp emails = no recovery unless you saved access somehow.
Best option: keep them alive as-is or use them with current login creds.
For future, use catch-all domains or private inboxes so you control recovery long-term.

No easy bypass right now unless you can intercept the old email and FB is detecting that too.

Yeah, FB’s security has tightened up a lot. Without access to the old email or phone, it's really tough to change anything now. Facing the same with some old accounts too.

Same issue here , I’ve got old accounts made with temp mails and cant recover them anymore. FB wont let you add a new email unless you verify through the original one first.

If you are logging into these FB accounts on a new device, you will receive a verification request from the old address. This is a new update of Meta.

Yes, Facebook has become much stricter in recent years regarding account recovery and security changes.
In most cases, changing the email or adding a new one now requires a code from the old email or phone number, especially if two-factor authentication was active.
If temporary emails were used and are no longer accessible, recovery is very difficult.
You might want to review Facebook’s help center for any updated recovery options, but unfortunately, there are limited solutions without access to the original contact methods.
Best of luck — it's a tough situation.

Hi! Yes, currently Facebook requires a code from the old email or phone to change login info (like email/password), especially for security reasons.

If you used temporary emails and no longer have access, it's very difficult to recover or update those accounts now. Facebook has tightened its recovery and security processes in recent years.

You can't change or add new contact information without a confirmation code sent to the old email or phone number. If the temporary email is inactive, it becomes very difficult or impossible to update.

You cannot change or add new contact information without a confirmation code sent to the old registered email or phone number.

If you want to change your email on Facebook without having access to your old email or phone number, you'll usually need to verify your identity. If you can't verify, you may need to recover your account first. Check Facebook's help center for specific recovery options and instructions on updating your contact information.
