It maybe in the hold time, contact the domain registrar and ask them! (I guess u can register it after some time, but no idea if this is right)

I believe these just mean the domain is locked to protect the registrant.

Can you post what it says here https://whois.icann.org/en/lookup (leaving out the domain name)?

The domain is either in redemption period or slated for deletion.
