Cancel The Message Counter on the Introduction Section and More.

I think you should shut down the Message Counter on Introduction from the Looks of it people are just posting there for absolutely nothing.

And I believe Every Post supposed to be more then 50 Notes... We should Educate people from the beginning to expand their thoughts and explain about themselves.

I am saying it won't happen and people won't welcome people just like that knowing it won't count as a message.

The reason the message counter was left enabled in the Introductions section was to allow a member an easy way to get their first post or two.

We're aware of members using that section to inflate their post count. In regards to this, I also once suggested shutting down the post count in that section, and the reason I was given at the time was that if we shut it down in that section, the people who inflate their post counts will just move their efforts to other parts of the forum. Essentially, the way it is now, at least the low-effort post count inflators can all be found in one place that's easy to clean up rather than across random threads on the forum.

If you see someone inflating their post count in that section or anywhere else on the forum (e.g., sticky threads and the marketplace section), hit the report button and our moderators will clean it up.
