hey guys as the title says im wondering is there any type of shorts that can get your channel demonetized par from something explicit.
So things like those movie clip tv show shorts that you commonly see .. like peaky blinders, fight club and all those type shorts

Has anyone got demonetized with these?

Shorts that feature copyrighted material like clips from TV shows and movies such as "Peaky Blinders" and "Fight Club" may potentially lead to your YouTube channel being demonetized.
Using copyrighted material without permission or proper licensing can violate YouTube's community guidelines and copyright policies, and may result in copyright strikes against your channel or even legal action from the copyright owner.

I will advice you create content that is original or u obtain proper permissions to avoid potential issues.
u can build your content using the ideas generated from the TV show clips instead.

What do yoy mean by TV show clips?

the movie clip you are trying to generate your video from.

You can follow the same Mother/child concept on youtube, make viral shorts, get views and subscribers and funne them to your main channel, that way even if your short channels got strikes, this won't affect your source of income.

ok got you but see the only thing that throws me off is i see a bunch of these short channels and alot of them are monetized?
What about if you edit over them and add text ? is it not that shorts your allowed to use 60 seconds up to copyrighted music and if its copyrighted content in clip then the owner of license gets a % of the ad revenue?

good idea but what about posting a bunch of them and then deleting them. I just dont understand the copyright rules with shorts they allow up to 60seconds of copyrighted music?

It's a bit complicated, and why risk it ? receiving strikes can demonetize your channel.

People risk it because then they don't need to spend time generating content for themselves, and these clips get easy upvotes and the chance to go viral.

Some of the content is incorporated into original content to pass as fair use under copyright laws and youtube policies. It's hard to just look at shorts and figure out where youtube draws the line.

My suspicion is with the shorts appearing so briefly in youtube searches, there's less change copyright holders see them or search them out. No way to know how long that will last.

Check these channels out all monetized https://www.youtube.com/@ken-nuff/featured

Now maybe its just a matter of time they will get demonetized but they grew extremely fast.. this is what has me scratching my head :L
but i will take their fair use right into account.. so saying using these movie clips and then adding a voiceover over it with value.
Technically you should be good ?

Those are not good examples. Andrew Tate encourages sharing his stuff I believe. Kevin Samuels is dead. Motivational channels have been doing this for like 10+ YEARS. They can definitely still get demonetized but you need someone to complain to YouTube. People can also CLAIM your video and you stay monetized but don't get revenue from those. Fair use is NOT protecting these. It's just that the copyright owners aren't striking them.

It's still possible to do so and benefit from going viral by protecting your main channel through child accts, and pushing your main channel in community page or pinned comments & mentions.

If you violate any policies in shorts, it will affect channel. But just using shorts will not cause any problem.

One single video can result in this but you should make some big mistake in the video so that they take action.

Only copyrighted content will cause problem. In extreme cases, if you violate policies of YouTube in some major way, it can also cause a problem.
