Can YouTube detect multiple channels to 1 device?

My old channel got demonetized and I’m about starting a new one.
Here’s my plan:
I will use an anti detect browser (Dolphin anti) and A residential proxy.

Will YouTube be able to detect my device because I know for sure that once YouTube demonetize a channel they’ll definitely come for the other channels owned by the same user.

Was your channel demonetized, or was your AdSense account suspended? If it was just your channel, no problem. I've had channels demonetized and created new ones on the same device, and they work without issue.

Must you use ai to respond? Aghh..
 
Google fingerprinting in 2026 goes beyond just cookies and IP. They're looking at your canvas fingerprint, WebGL, battery status, and even your mouse movement patterns. If you're planning to scale, just using 'incognito mode' won't cut it anymore. Are you using an anti-detect browser like AddsPower or Multi-Login, or just trying to stay under the radar with different Chrome profiles?
 
I’ve had complete channel terminations in the past, and YouTube didn’t “come after” my other channels as long as they weren’t under the same Gmail. I don’t even use proxies, anti-detect browsers, etc.

The known fact is that if you have multiple channels under the same AdSense account and one gets demonetized, your earnings from all linked channels will be held by AdSense until the issue with the affected channel is resolved.

That being said, if it were me and I wanted to be completely safe, I would link the new channel to a new AdSense account under a family member’s name or a company.

Logically speaking, a family member could use your device to run their own channel, and I think Google does consider that possibility. That’s probably one of the reasons Chrome has guest mode and separate profiles.

By the way, do you mind sharing why your channel was demonetized? Was it a Shorts AI channel by any chance?
 
Using an anti-detect browser is a high-effort way to manage the technical side, but it’s often overkill for a standard creator and can sometimes look suspicious in itself. YouTube doesn't just look at your device they look at

Metadata: Same descriptions, tags, and titles.

The AdSense Connection: If you link your new channel to the same old, demonetized AdSense account. They don't even need the proxy to catch you you just invited them in.

Cookies/History: If you accidentally log into your old "banned" Gmail on that "clean" proxy, the link is established forever.

Phone Verification: Using the same phone number for 2FA or channel verification.
 
YouTube is very smart at tracking patterns, so using tricks to hide your device can still get your new channel flagged.

You should use a VPS or a separate internet connection to ensure isolation for each account.

With dolphin and a good residential proxy the risk of your channel demonitized is minimised. There's always some risk, but it is less when you have different channels under different IPs/proxies.
 
yes maybe. I think using on a different device always they dont able to catch if same person is using. Use it on any other family member account device

If a channel gets demonetized, it’s usually tied to policy or content signals, not just the device. YouTube tracks way more than IP these days: account behavior, payment info, AdSense linkage, content patterns, even editing style sometimes.


Trying to outsmart device detection with anti-detect setups can actually increase risk if something doesn’t match naturally.


If you’re starting fresh, the safer long-term move is to fix whatever caused the demonetization in the first place and build clean from day one. YouTube’s enforcement is more pattern-based than just ‘same device’ tracking.

Honestly, if a channel gets demonetized, it’s usually tied to policy signals, not just device fingerprints. YouTube’s system connects accounts through way more than IP: AdSense linkage, recovery emails, phone numbers, payment details, behavior patterns, etc.


Using anti-detect + residential proxies might reduce simple IP linking, but it won’t protect you if the underlying monetization or content pattern triggers the same flags again.


In 2026, repeat enforcement usually happens because the business model didn’t change, not because of the laptop used.


If you’re starting fresh, the smarter play is fixing what caused the demonetization and building clean. Trying to out-tech YouTube’s risk system can work short term, but it’s rarely stable long term.
