Can you use FB ads?

I recently built a shopify store, and have been doing very well promoting products using FB ads. Now, I know most people recommend creating a niche blog to drive traffic to affiliate links, and while I eventually plan to do so, I was wondering if using FB ads in the mean time is possible. I read Facebook's policies, but they're a bit vague. Are you allowed to create FB ads to promote an affiliate link? If it's not allowed, are there ways around it?

If anyone has any experience with this, I'd really appreciate any feedback and tips you have!

You can. But you can not direct link to affiliate offers. And FB's policies about landing pages are also strict.
You either abide by their policies or you cloak your landers.

Is cloaking your landing page reliable? Or is it mostly just a matter of when you'll get caught?

dont do direct link. use cloak is a good way

The latter. Thats why you need lots of accounts too.
There are a lot of people running whitehat campaigns on FB and still making money. Just gotta test and collect data before you start optimizing your ads.

What exactly are whitehat FB ad campaigns with affiliate links? If you can't promote affiliate links, how do you do so the whitehat way?

You can promote your affiliate products by using a landing page that is compliant with FB's TOS. When I meant to say was you can not direct link from FB ads > sales page with your aff links.
Here's what you CAN do:
FB ads > Your WH, compliant landing page > Offer/Sales page where the actual conversion happens.
