I am wondering if it's at all possible to upload your own windows iso onto GCE?

Doubt it. Will be against Windows ToS I think. Could be wrong though. Your own Iso could also contains stuff that can backdoor the server so I doubt they will allow it

Legal issues aside. Still seeking for answer. I remember coming across someone who hosted custom image to be able to install from his server to my own server with a fee.

Off the top of my head the possibilities of using them because of the 300$ credit with 60 days expiry. Of course I could go with their supplied windows but if i can load my own image i can push the spec to very high while still survive 60 days, for free.

Ive seen tuts on vultr, but not sure if it can be done the same on GCE/AWS and the likes.

Sidenote, I remember doing that on ovh and it was hell for me. I went through so much documentation i became crazy and now i completely forgot what i did. If GCE is using KVM, then doesn't this mean it's the same step everywhere that uses KVM?

Wow! This is interesting. Let's hope that computer wiz will drop by this thread and help us. I want to know, too!

Still looking for answers.
