Can you upload videos to Instagram?

Hey guys, I'm facing this problem for like 4 days. I have an Android phone and I can't upload external videos to Instagram it always says failed. I've tried with other phone other account and other video but the problem still persists. Can you try to upload if you have android phone? I need to know if I have to buy an iPhone. I would really appreciate it.

Happens to me a lot with my Samsung Galaxy too. I find it happens mostly when I'm in an area with poor mobile coverage or poor wifi. Try switching between wifi/4G and see if that helps.
 
i've never tried to upload videos to ig, but you mention external videos, that might be your problem right there
or do you mean that you were able to do it before, but not anymore?

Yea i've been able to upload it before, I even tried to upload a video that I already uploaded like 10 days ago so it's not the problem with the video.
 
Maybe it's because of the kind of device you're using. Android phones usually experience that kind of error on Instagram. It can also be due to poor internet connection.
 
I've tried with several older versions of Instagram, even one from 2014. Still same issue. Is it possible that I got ban on uploading external videos? Does that kind of ban even exists? I can upload vids and pictures that I take.

One way to find out if your ban is to capture a video from your phone & upload as a test. If you can, it's your external video settings.
