Can you swear on TikTok?

I couldn't find an answer anywhere and the TikTok ToS is not that extensive.

I might drop some f bombs and "shit" in my videos, is that allowed?

Stuff like "What the f are you saying?" etc.

I see videos all the time with Songs that have explicit content, but I wouldn't want to risk it. What do you guys reckon?

As per the tik tok TOS, it is not allowed to use explicit contents, spam comments, harassing videos and comments. But the algorithm and the regulations are not up to the mark to maintaining as a comprehensive platform. There won't be any problem unless if someone manually reports you.

I think it's best to avoid swearing. It's against TOS and TikTok has moments where it just decides to take down videos it doesn't like. A lot of popular creators don't swear or use *s in their videos. If a video gets taken down, your account 'quality score' will fall off a cliff and your reach for the rest of your videos will nosedive.

TikTok's policy is getting a lot more strict than before. Swearing is definitely getting you banned in not time.

Nope! Rule of thumb is most social media platforms forbid this
