I would say just start writing and over time you will begin to notice what are your strongest areas are or which areas you are really passionate about versus only kind of passionate about. Either way, building authority takes a long time especially if you are writing in a crowded space. I think having a niche just makes it easier to be found by people at first. If you blow up or something in your niche category there is always the future option to broaden your topic and then you will at least have an audience already.
Actually, in Indonesia casino and gambling is banned so quite confused.

The same people that use gambling sites, also buy tees, and watch youtube vids, and tiktok, and purchase merch, so don't invest your time and money pushing impossible boulders uphill if the topic is banned in your country. Choose your battle wisely.
