i have used https://exifcleaner.com/ in the past. does the job.
not realistic if scope is over 10 images.

In windows, you can easily remove metadata from any file. You can right click on the file and go to properties. You will get "remove properties and personal information" option there. You can click on that, and it will be removed.

That's not true! The "remove properties and personal information" tool cannot "remove metadata from any file"! far from it! It can only remove a handful of properties from 9 formats. Google for an article called "Remove Properties and Personal Information: A Misleading Feature!". It gives a detailed description of how lousy this tool really is.
On the other hand, ExifCleaner, mentioned earlier, does a pretty good job, for the file types it supports, and is based on the open-source ExifTool library.
There is no such thing as a tool that can "remove metadata from any file", as each file type has a very different internal format. The tool must be designed to handle specific formats.

What type of data you want to delete? It will always depend on the type of file you need to process
