Play this song while reading this to really engross yourself into what I have been feeling for the last few days:
As the first chilly breeze sweeps through the horizon, death's colden embrace fills the sky.
The moving organisms scatter, disorganized, disoriented, disillusioned.
As the crisp enters their bodies, it rapidly disintegrates all what was built for so very long.
The bonds that have festered for ages, broken.
A peaceful utopia, crumbling into the abyss.
It starts running.
But there is no escape. No 'there' anymore.
It doesn't listen. It still runs.
A resilient creature, one must note.
The blood flow devolves from a wild river to a rather stealthy lake and eventually, just a picture, a line, a point.
A one dimensional being.
Time stops. Breathing shallow. Nostrils filled. It gasps. We gasp.
One last thought, one last move.
Crumbling to the ground, shattering into pieces, the news spread throughout the Earth.
Interpreting it as a sign of 'there', other beings plunge towards it.
A flash was felt, leaving all out of motion.
Winter is coming...
