If I buy 25 proxies for, say, $40....can I find someone else that wants to half it with me so we're splitting the cost but sharing the private proxies?

Is this common? Or is there something that usually prevents it?

I just got scapebox, and I'm running it from a home connection, so I don't think I need dedicated access to the proxies yet. I'd rather share 20-40 proxies than just have 10 to myself.

yes, but that is not the question, the question is if he buys 25 proxies for $40, can the proxies be shared with a friend or family etc?

yes, you can share proxies and I know one provider that you can assign specific IP addresses for each proxy so no other ip address can use that proxy...so you are safe.....but its always better to share to a friend rather than a stranger

Why don't you just go with mrankin's shared private proxy. They're 9 bucks for 10 and theyre really fast. It's pretty much the same as you buying a private proxy for 20 and splitting them. Mrankin's thread can be found in the proxy section and proxies are called surfcc. Good luck.

He's asking because he could probably sell access to them in a way where he results in paying nothing. Great strategy if you ask me, but hardly worth the effort to save $45 a month. You won't get in trouble with your supplier. If you want to share them with a hundred people that too is fine.

Some providers put a ips restriction, others have a restriction for simultanious ips connected...
