Can you share a FB pixel from disabled ads account?

Pixel from BM for background? Pixel from dead ad account what?

As long as the original BM that created that pixel is still alive, you can share that pixel everywhere.

Is it possible to share a pixel from disabled fb ads account to another one?
Maybe you don't understand correctly, the pixel belongs to the BM, not the ad account.
If that BM is still active, it can be shared to another ad account.

Sharing pixels from a disabled FB ad account to another account is very difficult and almost impossible.

If only the ad account is disabled, and not the entire BM, you can still share that pixel with a new account

Better to create a pixel in a new BM and share it to your ad account. Avoid linking anything tied to a disabled account,FB can flag it and shut you down fast.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to share a Facebook Pixel from a disabled ad account to another one. When an ad account is disabled, the associated Pixel becomes inaccessible, as Meta restricts access to all assets tied to that account. Your best bet is to create a new Pixel in a different Business Manager or use a backup Pixel (unassigned to any ad account) that’s been collecting data on your website. Have you set up any spare Pixels yet? What’s your current setup for handling this?

pixel belongs to BM. if your BM is still working then the problem can be solved.

yes, absolutely, account deactivation does not affect the pixel as long as you still have access to the pixel.

yes because pixel is not account based. Pixel is shared from BM

2. If BM is restricted or completely disabled
If BM is restricted from advertising but not deleted, the pixel is still there but is not used to run ads (track data).

If BM is completely disabled, the pixel is lost and cannot be shared.

No bro, once a Facebook ad account is disabled, you can’t share or access its pixel, it becomes inactive along with the account. Better to create a new pixel under a working BM. Next time use a backup BM to help you minimizing the risk

No, a pixel from a disabled ads account can’t be used effectively because it’s tied to that account’s status. It’s better to set up a new pixel on an active account to ensure proper tracking and avoid performance issues.

Unfortunately, you can't transfer pixels from disabled Facebook ad accounts - they're permanently tied to the original account. However, here's what you can do: create a fresh pixel in your new account through Ads Manager → "Events Manager" → "Add Data Source" → "Facebook Pixel."

To recover tracking data, export any audience lists from Business Manager before the account was fully disabled. You can rebuild Custom Audiences in the new account using email lists or phone numbers you collected.

For future protection, always set up Facebook Conversions API alongside your pixel - it provides backup tracking and better data resilience. I've seen many advertisers successfully rebuild their tracking within 2-3 weeks using exported customer data.

How long ago was your account disabled, and do you still have access to customer email lists to rebuild your audiences?

Check that Pixel again, if there are no restrictions, you can absolutely share that Pixel to the new BM
