Can you SEO a Shopify Website?

I'm looking into building a Shopify Store but with a blog section as well, I was wondering if SEO on Shopify is doable or if there's any difference from Wordpress?

Though, I would never go to Shopify for an eCommerce site and would rather work with WordPress (WooCommerce) or better, Magento, you can SEO Shopify.

Thanks, I've been building some Woocommerce websites too, the main issue is that it's so easy with Shopify as it provides super fast loading speed and takes care of everything, should I man up and go with Woocommerce? I agree that the websites look better, I just don't know if it's worth it

there are some SEO apps for shopify too, they might help you out., not all of them free, check the reviews before installing them

It makes no difference in terms of SEO. You should do whatever you feel comfortable with. I will say that I would prefer to use wordpress because (I think) they give you far more customization than shopify with plugins, themes, etc. and some plugins (like yoast) can help you quite a bit. Again, not necessary but I would use wordpress. If you're comfortable with woocommerce then you should consider it as well.

With Shopify you can customize title tags, meta descriptions, H1s, and image alt text. They also handle caching, cdn, and schema markup. The only SEO problem I have with Shopify is their URL structure.

I would go with woocommerce or bigcommerce if you have the time for an SEO optimized website. They are setup better for SEO
