Hey guys,

I plan on making a site and blasting it for a client - the site would have nothing on it - just a redirect to his site.

Are there any problems I may face with this? Will it be as effective as blasting a normal site? Different methods I should use etc.

Thanks for any help mates.

Better to create a half decent site with a link + keyword towards the targeted site vs just blasting a redirect.

What experiences have you had with just redirecting sites? Anything need to be done differently etc?

Anyone else?

Can anyone else help me out?

i disagree. if you do that you are only getting 1 link from IP addres, if you do a redirect you are getting all the links from all the ip addresses that you built links on. using a 301 redirect does not decrease the "link juice" at all, it gives your clients all the benefits of the links you built but prevents people from being able to reverse engineer them and also keeps you in control of the links if your clients try to screw you over. I think all serious SEO companies use 301 redirects when building links for clients

This is misleading and absolutely wrong.
Thanks mate, anyonen else agree with him? I want to do like

www.abc.com.au/abc

And rank different subdomains, each sub domain would refer to a different page, would that be a problem? I would've thought the backlinks tot eh sub domains would help the others...
