No offense but you're terribly mistaken. Counterfeit products are made from low quality inferior materials. So it is not the exact blueprint.

Take for example Nintendo DS games. The Flash memory is of inferior quality so many games are either dead on arrival or have a short lifespan.

I did this a long time ago and it isn't worth the hassle no matter how you word the listing if one of the manufactures decides to make an issue of it but...

If you really want to then drop ship is a must like above posters have said.
 
Yes, you can sell replicas as long as you never mention the following and related words in your ad: authentic, real, orginal, no fake, replica.

The reason: ebay robots + you can ignore people when they email: is this a fake?

Currently i am selling L@coste caps for 7 euro worldwide and have had no problems for years.

Years ago I tried to sell a replica on ebay and almost got the boot. Luckily, at the time I was a "powerseller" (big deal), but I received a very terse talking to by the PS manager.

Don't do it!!! These days they are booting without asking questions!

Many fake iphones are being sold there and they are listed as real iphones. The buyers never know the difference. There are a few sellers still there from last year that are selling iphones and I know 100% sure that the phones are replicas.

On the other had, there are some iphones lookalikes that sell real well there. They don't use the word iphone...only the pictures make them look similar.

Yes, but when it goes wrong (which it probably will one day) the penalties will be that much harsher because it was a more elaborate deception. It's hardly a long term income strategy, unless you live in a country without a US extradition treaty.

You can sell replicas on there and ebay WILL NOT remove it lol..You have to make sure that it is worded correctly though.. For instance say your selling a Eve of Mylady Wedding Dress #2 from their website but it is a replica you received from China. What you need to make sure in your Listing the head one must say Inspired Eve of Mylady ect and in the actuall listing you must say that it was inspired from this dress and is not the actual eve of malady and you have no connection to the company or any of their suppliers ..got it good :P

Only reason I know is that a while back I was working with a china manufacture for my ebay and did receive a piece of info from a named brand company and he forwarded it to me stating that you can not call it a replica but when he spoke with the lawyer you can say it was inspired from such and such and that would be legal ..hope that helps

You can be banned, and you also can get a lawsuit. It's got nothing to do with wording
it correctly....total bullshit!!

If you owned Rolex, would you want to see fakes (replicas) on ebay. Of course if you owned Rolex you wouldn't be here posting!:D But I'm sure you can understand the point I'm trying to make.
 
It has allot to do with wording if you state it is a fake it will be pulled, I will agree though other large companies No they do not want to see there stuff advertised as a fake, replica ect ect ect ....Although the best way to list a replica is to just list it as a piece of jewelry and call it whatever you want..Kind of like when you buy generic cereal for instance you have fruit loops and then you have fruit circles lol
 
I use to sell replicas on Ebay while i was in college. damn the money was rolling in. it was great . . . . until I got a letter from U.S. Customs saying that they had confiscated my shipments.

i don't sell fake stuff anymore because the risks are greater than the rewards.... depending on how you look at it. i do get tempted from time to time to sell fake "as seen on tv products" . . . . u can make a killing on certain ones . . .
 
Yeah, it's not a good idea. It was much easier to get away with about 7-8 yrs ago. Nowadays, there are lots of protections in place. ebay has evolved alot over the years.

Paypal will hold most of your payments until the items are delivered...so even if you get around everything else, your fake better look damn good. Good enough to fool all of your customers.
 
ebay? so there are still people willing to sell in ebay.
after analyzing their fee structure.
their stupid dispute resolving ways and etc.
i lost hope of selling and making money in ebay.
your customers just have to say not as described and there goes your money.

so many ways to lose money than ways to make money at ebay!
