Sure, that’s something you can do, but the previous audience won’t necesarily come along with it.
I would try out a couple of posts, before doing a full sweep; you’ll soon see from their reactons whether you have any traction left.

If the old page already has good followers, I will suggest to try it first instead of making a new page. Just test the new content and see how the audience reacts.

Yes, first, I would test the current audience before disregarding all the hard work that has been done already,
When the engagment is still good enough with a couple of posts, there’s no need to begin everything from scratch.

You could, but then I’d say don’t delete everything all at once. Those followers you have now probably don’t care about your new topic, so try a few and see how the reach goes.

There’s no response to be found; instead, the account just turns into a "dead page" because no one interacts with the new posts. If you want to start a completely new topic, it’s best to create a fresh page from scratch for a clean slate!
