can you recommend a camera?

hey guys

gonna get myself a new camera - really just to take pics of the kids and that, my old digital camera has seen better days... thing is my last one took crappy pics indoors, with the flash pics always looked washed out - just want something i can click and go and get good pics price range probably $100 to $300 max

any suggestions really appreciated

usual story when i go shopping for stuff like that though i ended up going in there today for a camera and left with a wii fit plus! lol

likewise yesterday i went to get a magazine from Borders ended up leaving with no magazine and the Planet Earth DVD collection!
