Can You Rank in Google Without Links?

Obviously you can rank with no backlinks. We can do it all the time in Rare/Odd Niches that don't have much rivalry. Incredible content, and a couple of good quality back links can work ponders for you.

Yes. As others have pointed out, good content and good SEO help a lot. If your topic or niche is unique, it's really easy. About ten years ago, I built a niche site around a seasonal item and I was effectively the only site on the Internet to have any amount of content on that topic at all.

I had the #1 spot on Google for the primary keyword for ten years, and for five years after I last added any content to the site. Got tons of traffic, too.

It will be hard, but its possible with social media, onsite SEO and quality content. And you will need a good keyword that other sites aren't targeting.
 
Teoretically you can rank website without links, but it should be very low competition keywords.
Or you can try to rank with social sharings, interesting viral content, etc.
 
Yes you can with great content and low competition for local search but why would you try that?
 
Yes I believe that you can. I think that it might be a bit harder to do then having links. Never really tried it though.
 
My one article is ranked in page 4 with out nothing.
I drive traffic to that article from YouTube & Bing Ads.
 
Yes, especially with the new changes to google about quality content. Of course you wont be able to rank for high-saturated keywords, but using semantic-seo you can really push up your website on some easier/medium keywords without any use of backlinks.

I have a few sites with relevant domain names and articles with 0 backlinks ranking on the first page of google.
 
I recently build a one-page site, did no backlinking, 4400 monthly searches, low-comp, on an EMD and ranking #1 in Google after a few weeks.
So to answer your question: yes it's possible, just find the right keyword for your site.
 
Yes but for very low competition keywords only. Of course if you have an authority site, the sub-page can rank for certain keywords without any backlinks to that particular page.
 
I don't think any serious ranking is possible without a good backlink infrastructure.

Of course you can. But honestly I don't understand why not to use everything you can...As much methods you use (I mean clever using) as better results you have.
 
No, not for keywords with any kind of decent competition.

No matter how King your Content is.
 
I can say yes, you can rank with out building links but you need to work hard towards it because it is not that easy to do.
Traffic is more impotent to get rank so by publishing more high quality content on your site. Spend some time on social media and try to make connections with other people in your niche.
when you think that your website is loaded with useful content then you can go and contribute your ideas and what you have gained so that you site also can get some traffic through that.:)
