I'm just wondering because I'm interested in purchasing my own private proxy, but the online proxies I've used never work when I try to post on Facebook or any messageboard. They work in terms of loading the pages, but it's the actual post action that doesn't function whenever I use an online proxy. I'm just wondering if this is only the case with an online proxy?

I'd appreciate any info on this. Thanks.

Yes, I just did it using one of my own shared proxies, although Facebook had a bit of a cow about me logging into my Australian Facebook account using a US IP!

I got a private proxy but it won't let me post comments on wordpress. :(

I get the following error upon clicking post...

ERROR

The requested URL could not be retrieved

The following error was encountered:

  • Access Denied. Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is incorrect.

Is there anything I can do to get around this?

Good Proxies will work fine with FB. It depends on which provider you are using.

Which post method do you use? web browser or bot?

A good proxy will let you post and access anywhere.

Agreed...make sure you use good proxies. It will save you a lot of time trying to figure out if it was a "real" problem or a problem with a bad proxy.
