Can you post links in Facebook groups posts?

I'm thinking of monetizing my Facebook posts in the groups I visit and contribute to and add affiliate and other links, either direct or redirected from my blog.

The thing is I don't see other members of the groups doing that and I'm afraid it might come off as spammy.

So what do you think and what kind of strategies do you use to succesfully share links?

well you cannot do that as facebook its very strict with links now and they will not give your post too much reach
Plus fb groups owners will not like that and they will ban you
Its best to personalize your profile around your business and have your link in there
Then post quality content like : stories ,tips ,methods ,ask questions ,answer questions etc
If you provide value then people will go to your profile and they will click the link on bio
Good luck
 
You'll be banned or kicked best of thinking of a way to post something that will get you a lot of traction and ppl reaching out to you
 
Other group members won't be cool with that
You can get away with it on Quora. Not on FB.

Great input guys, thanks a lot.

Just being helpful in the hope of attracting them to our profile feels like too much of a shot in the dark and it seems a waste of time.

Besides what you pointed out I'm thinking of mentionning our sites/brands in comments and posts without links to create brand recognition.

Anyone know of a SMM panel that offers customncomments in groups for this kind of thing? Micro-workers sites would do well but panel would be cheaper to scale I think.
 
Yep, cloaking can work on some sites, I think facebook tracks those links.

Created a facebook fan page!
Posted a post from that fan page + img and link in post!
Shared the post from the fan page in groups instead of sharing a link + image for example!

Maybe this works?
I haven't tried it out myself.

Sure it is the proper way to do it, but unless you create a viral post, it yields little result because most people don't bother to check your profile.

you can run links in private run groups , i use to be in 40 media marketing groups
on face book with 1/5 million users in each group, most allowed links
 
You don't need to do a lot posts in on Facebook group. Just only one post and add comments to that post instead of adding another post.
I see they don't limit on comments, you can post link or anything you want.
 
Even of you are not banned, don’t waste your time. The reach for link post is ZERO
 
Create multiple facebook accounts is also a good idea. You need to warm up the newly created Facebook account for at least 1 month before doing group join and group post. Try to open/login to those Facebook accounts every day.
This method works for me and I have couple really good Facebook accounts, when this account is limited, I use another account :D
